Once or Twice a month in the church, the centre works with the NCMA to provide any extra care required by parents e.g. before 8am or after 6pm - or any other time the centre may be closed.The National Childminding Association (NCMA) provide training for childminders and often use the church facilities to do so. Children's centre staff may also attend these training sessions. If you are interested in becoming a childminder please ask for more information. Every Local Authority will provide a service aimed at supporting childminders, promoting drop-in sessions, toy libraries, business support, training and career opportunities.
